Campania Hills Vineyard
Campania Hills began life as ‘Colmaur’ in 1995. The property was purchased by Jeanette and Lindsay Kingston who changed the name to ‘Campania Hills as ‘Colmaur’ was no longer relevant. The 72 Acre farm comprises a mixture of bush, pasture, olive grove and vineyard.
Jeanette and Lindsay took on the property with a single-minded focus. This approach was to stand them in good stead in the first years as neither had any experience in Vineyard management, olive production or general farm management. Lindsay’s off handed remark of ‘the only experience we’d had was getting the cork out of the bottle’ was to typify the early years.
